At The Outback Op Shop Australia nothing goes to waste.

Here's how we stay zero-waste:

  • Items in good condition are resold at super affordable prices
  • Anything that doesn't find a home is redonated to those in need
  • Damaged, stained or unsellable items are repurposed into new creations.

About Us

At The Outback Op Shop Australia, we believe in more than just second-hand fashion—we believe in community, sustainability, and making quality clothing accessible to everyone.

Born from a love of op shopping and the challenge of finding affordable, stylish clothing in rural Australia, our shop exists to bring budget-friendly fashion to the heart of the outback. Whether you're a local in Injune or a traveler passing through, we're here to help you find your next great bargain.

Why Shop With Us?

Affordable Prices, Always – Thanks to generous community donations, we keep our prices low so you can refresh your wardrobe without breaking the bank.
Handpicked & High-Quality – Every item is carefully checked, washed, ironed, and wrapped—because we believe second-hand doesn’t mean second-best.
A Unique Op Shop Experience – Our store is more than just a thrift shop—it's a welcoming space for locals and travelers, offering a curated selection of outback-style finds, second-hand treasures, and new products tailored for life in the bush.
More Than Just Clothing – We also stock gifts, homewares, garden products and plants, stationery, and other must-have general items to meet the needs of our community and visitors.

Our Story

Founder Tori Johnson, a longtime op-shop lover, launched The Outback Op Shop Australia after realizing how difficult it was to find affordable clothing in remote areas. What started as a simple idea quickly grew into a thriving shop, supported by an amazing community that shares the same passion for sustainability, affordability, and helping others.

Now open and operating from our new location at 26 Hutton Street, Injune, we’re proud to continue our journey—giving pre-loved fashion a new home and making op shopping a must-stop experience for both locals and travelers heading to the Carnarvon Gorge and beyond.

Come visit us in-store or shop online—we can’t wait to help you find your next great bargain!

Quality of Our Clothing

At The Outback Op Shop Australia, we are committed to offering affordable second-hand clothing to rural communities across Australia. However, please note that due to the nature of second-hand clothing, we cannot guarantee perfection.

What to Expect

Size Guides

Let’s Talk Sizes (Because They’re All Over the Place!)
We get it—one brand’s size 10 is another’s size 14, and don’t even get us started on men’s pants! That’s why we’ve put together these handy size guides to help take the guesswork out of shopping. Whether you're browsing for shirts, pants, or anything in between, scroll down to find the charts that’ll make sizing simple.

Please take note though, these are still very much a guide. If you would like measurements of a particular garment, please contact us.
